Location

COOPER SPUR MOUNTAIN RESORT is 23 miles south of Hood River, just 2.5 miles off Highway 35 on Cooper Spur Road. THE COOPER SPUR SKI AREA & TUBING PARK is just 1.5 miles up Cloud Cap Road (the road directly across from the resort entrance).

DIRECTIONS FROM PORTLAND

Take I-84 east to Hood River, exit #64. Head south on Highway 35 for 23 miles (passing by the first intersection of Cooper Spur Road). Turn right at the second intersection of Cooper Spur Rd. Travel 2.5 miles. The resort is the first thing you'll come to on the right!

ALTERNATE ROUTE
Take Highway 26 east from Portland, through Government Camp. At the junction of Highway 35 north (take the right "Y" to head north on Highway 35). Travel approximately 22 miles. Turn left (west) and travel 2.5 miles to the resort entrance on the right.

Alpine Ski Area and Tubing Center 1 mile up the mountain from the lodging property. The Nordic Center with Cross Country trails and Snowshoeing is accessed at the lodging property.

Cooper Spur Mountain Resort facilitates business meetings, team building sessions and recreational pursuits, as well as family vacations. It is located on 775 acres of private forest land, a 1400 acre US Forest Service permit area, all surrounded by Mt. Hood National Forest.
